show moderator names in different color?

Any SIMPLE way that won't kill the database with queries to show the moderator names in a different color, even bold different color?
New folks don't always know who they are, and the list of online members is GREAT, but if those online members who were moderators or administrator showed up differently, that would be nice for new folks, even help out the older ones with less than perfect eyes.
Don't really want to load down the database with things, but if it's simple to do...........
