Web Wiz is pleased to announce support for the
ASP.NET 4.5 Framework on all our Windows 2008 R2 Shared and Reseller Hosting Packages, as well as supporting previous ASP.NET Frameworks including 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0.
New features in ASP.NET 4.5 include
- Asynchronous reading and writing of HTTP requests and responses
- Support for await and task based asynchronous modules
- Improved support for HTML 5
- Binding and minification of CSS and Javascript files
- ASP.NET Request Validation Features
- Deferred ("lazy") request validation
To enable ASP.NET 4.5 on your website, just login to your Control Panel and edit your Website Settings, under the Extensions tab you will be able to switch your website to ASP.NET 4.5 selecting if you want Classic or Integrated Pipeline.
