I had to put IE9 and FF14 side by side like this, otherwise what I'm about to show may be hard to believe:

FF14 loads page okay.
IE9 gives this error on same page - in the RTE area:

Server Error in Forum Application

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_getSessionData()_get_session_data
File Name:- functions_session_data.asp

I am writing this post in IE 9 but can not see the error.

The error is a session issue, I suspect that it is caused by you logging in to the forum from the same machine using two different browsers, the second browser has destroyed the session of the first browser, thus giving the error.

I get this error even if I log off via both browsers, then log back in to IE while staying logged off via FF and keeping it off. Having both browsers side by side was done for demo purposes to get the screen shot - I get the same exact result if I only log in via one browser - as long as the browser is IE. It never shows up in FF.

Okay, as always, looks like you were right.
How I got rid of this error:

1. Logged out (both browsers)
2. Logged back in on one with following options:
    - Keep me logged in:  NO
    - Add me to active users list:  NO

I logged off.
Then logged back in with both YES

No more error - thanks for your help!!
