when i add a hyperlink, www.myweb.com

the post ended up looking like this

http://url=http://www.myWeb.comMy%20Link/URL

where is %20 coming from...

What version are you running and exactly when does this occur, and does it stop the link from working????

i'm running 6.34

when i use "add hyperlink" button, is when this happens.

it happens when i am trying to add a standard link, with alternate text

like this [URL=http://www.myWeb.com]My Link[/URL]

it DOESN'T happen when using forum code.

the odd thing is it doesn't happen all the time, but the link doesn't work when the extra code gets added

20% is URL encoding for a space, browsers then see the 20% in a URL as a space and so should only appear in links that have spaces in them.
