I recently came across this error and am wondering if anyone can tell me where my problem could be.

I posted a new topic in my forum but when I select the style or colour or anything llike that I was getting the following error:

Line: 141 (121,162...)

Char:1

Error:Object Expected

Code:0

URL:http://mysite/post_message_form.asp?mode=new&FID=2

 

Any ideas

It copuld be a corrupted file, try re-uploading.

Or it could be that you have modified some of the pages, so try just uploading the original files.

How I made MY bug occur...

I copied some text from notepad and pasted it into the message body.

When I tried to italic it etc... it gave me the error.

Any suggestions?

(The only mod I have done that I can think of is I loaded in a skin)

It sounds like a JavaScript problem.

Most likely you have a corrupted file or some modification to teh board like a 3rd party skin or intergratimg it into your site is coursing the JavaScript file to failt to run correctly.

Its strange because I only installed the Invision skin. (which I don't think modifys much)

I did notice that if I get the above error... then I refresh the page it works

It could be a problem with your web broswer and it is not loading in the linked javascript file.
