how can i disabel the ip showing in the posts??

As my members dont whant there IP's all over the net..

i thought only admin members could see the ip address.. normal used see a message saying IP Logged, so their ip isn't all over the net..

Awesome.. I was wondering how I could get the ip address from showing... now it makes sense.  I'm an admin, I see them... Cool!

Just as a 'tip' for anyone who wonders, you should assign yourself a "normal" account on your forums for testing purposes. This will allow you to see what your visitors are seeing.


Far easier than coming here and asking questions on it....

Also, visit your forums periodically as a guest as well to make sure things are working how you want for guests.

You may have forums that are supposed to be hidden showing, for example, or you accidentally left the ability to vote on for all users (including guests) and you didn't mean to.

This is especially important if you have hidden areas that aren't supposed to be seen by guests and/or certain user groups.
