Adding more than 7 answers to polls?

I would like to have more than the default seven answers to my poll questions.  I thought I would try and modify the database and add three more entries trying to give myself a possiblilty of 10 total?  It doesnt appear to be that easy.  Does anyone have an idea of what I would have to do to allow for more than seven answers to my poll questions?

Open your database and on tblConfiguration look for a field called Vote_choices and change it to how many choices you want......... that's it.

In 7.01 you can change it under "Forum Configuration" in the admin area.

tblConfiguration look for a field called Vote_choices that doesnt exist in my database!  also where would i download the 7.1 version where it includes that option under configuration?  I just downloaded on friday and the version i have does not have that option?????

i am having the same problem.  I want to increase the number of choices but my db doesnt show the field Vote_choices nor does the Admin show any option to change this.  How do i know what version i have?  Where can i see this?

You don't need to do anything directly to the database.

Go to the admin area and under 'Forum Configuration' there is a drop down menu to select the number of poll choices between 2 and 25. Just simply change this dropped down box to the number of poll choices that you want.

i do not have this option in the Forum Config area. In the Admin area i have ;Configure the Weekly Poll section', but this does not present me with a drop down menu to include the number of answers.  Am i running an old version of Weekly Poll?  I just downloaded it 2 weeks ago

where is version 7.01?  When i look on the website i see only version 3.06.  Am i looking at the wrong area?
