Hi all,

I know of the CDate problem, where you can get a 'type mismatch'-error, which can be solved by setting the correct LCID in both common.asp files.

Now here is my problem: I have a local webserver, for which I have to set the LCID to 1043 (Dutch - Netherlands). If I have this setting, I can work with the forum without any problem FROM INSIDE our network.

As soon as someone reaches the forum on the same webserver using our domainname (so from the internet, not the intranet), I still get the CDate 'type mismatch'-error.....

I tried setting the LCID to other values, but none work from outside our netwerk, and only 1043 works from inside our network.

Please help,

Sven Glazenburg

Intsall the ducth langauge on the web server, this is done in the windows control panel so that windows understands the date format you are trying to use.

It's the same server, I'm just connecting either from inside the network or from outside of it... It has dutch installed and it works from inside the network, but not from outside of it...

Quester, that's because you have only set the regional settings (dutch) to that specific user which is logged on the server. It's not set for the default user/whole operating system.

Fix that and you have fixed the whole thing. If you want a more detailed description on have to solve it, then you have to tell me if you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP ?
