Our forum server, hosted by my ISP, uses none of the 5 recommended file upload protocols .. and they do not wish to for technical reasons. I had hoped to avoid modifying the standard version 7.1 of the forum that works so well ... thankyou.
The ISP had me FTP the following uploads_process.aspx file. It does upload images .. BUT does not have the correct exits to have the image then appear in the posts (which is what I am after).
At present, the images sit on the server with a ugly message saying "upload success" and the ISP expects our forum users to then link to them which avoidable when the "image upload" button is fully fuctional. ie a one step process.

I have tried inserting code from upload_images.asp supplied with v7.1 but then nothing happened. I am so very confused. Hope that you can give me some advice ?
I am in the process of downloading an asp editor ... but I know very little about asp.
