Hi, I have a folder called 'aspnet_client' with some .js files on my hosting. Do I really need it? Can I delete it? I mean, if I remove it, does asp.net create it again automaticly when it need it, or not? I just ask this coz I don't have this folder on my test server @home

if you dont have it on your test server and nothing is broken...

then nothing should be broken on the remote server

but with that said.. that directory is like 30k total, tops... just let it be..... .NET Framework put it there for a reason

Right, that folder is used for client side scripts. For example, if you have a validator at your page, and have the client_validate property set to true (or something), then the ASP.NET page uses WebUIValidation.js.

These files are needed if you use these kind of actions, elsewhise, just leave them, just in case (because I don't know if the framework creates the folder itself).

Ow, don't try to replace them. This will call an anoying error during the load of the page, and ofcourse, the function won't work.

Gone..
