I've searched the forums with 3 different texts, and none of the topics I found fixes my problem. So here goes:

When I login as an admin (doesn't matter from what page), I can use all the admin options everywhere on the forums but the Admin section.

When I try to get into the admins section, I get this: Sorry, only members with sufficient permission can access this page.

It worked fine just yesterday, and nothing was changed..I went over the backup db and the one in use, and didn't notice anything different in the premissions and authors tables. The backup db, from last week, workes great though. The problem is that I don't want to delete the new members and posts since than.

Is there any way for me to enter the admins page? I tried logging-out, entering different pages of the admins..But I guess the problem is with the database.

Any help will be appriciated.

Ok I found the problem..

strCookieName was "WWF", but the common.asp in /admin/ wanted a cookie that was named "Forum"..so it couldn't find my usernam in the database..anyway, it works great now.

yea, everyone who reads this from here on out, just remember if you change anything in common.asp to MAKE SURE you change it in admin/common.asp too! basically admin reads and common writes, so if you only change one, you'll run in to problems because it will be looking for the wrong thing when you go to do anything important.
