Has anyone had any problems with Permission Denied errors
when posting a reply under Windows 2000 Server SP4. The
error happens when the CDONTS object in
send_mail_function.inc calls its send() method.

Yup ... had to start using CDOSYS instead.

From memory it is because of Exchange Server (do you have Exchange installed on the same machine?) and one of its recent service packs.

I inherited both the provider and this application so I will find out if
Exchange Server is part of the environment. But, I think CDOSYS is
the way to go anyway. A little help on how to set the configuration
would be appreciated.
