When I try to post in a forum, I get the following

Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a03ea'

Syntax error

includes/RTE_message_form_inc.asp, line 154

I am using Windows XP Pro, Indigoperl server software and SunOne Active server pages v4.1 to run ASP.

And a quick answer to the two most common replies here.

1. Sounds like a server problem, contact your server administrator. - I am the server administrator

2. Some files may be corrupted, try uploading the files again. - Have done, repeatedly

Unfortunately I can't. Before I was aware of .asp and IIS, I set up indigoperl as my server. Now any calls to the server IP go straight to Indigoperl and not IIS and I have too many sites there to change it all as some are linked to a mySQL database

Just as a note of interest do you find the rest of the forum is running OK under SunOne Active Server Pages?

well, aside from an error at line154 in includes/RTE_message_form_inc.asp and after deleting that line line 157 (Both of which are indented blak lines) I have discovered no other problems (Yet) It installs extremely well, and runs quite fast. I used to use Ikonboard and Invisionboard, both were OK (ish) but the person that sweated blood to write this one deserves a bloody medal. It is moron friendly, easy to use, easy to transfer to another host, and it does exactly what it says on the box!

Feel free to see if you can find any probs, its now at www.global-lifeline.co.uk/forum/default.asp

Many thanks for getting back to me, I think I'm going to have to setup a test server to test the forum under different web servers and different versions of ASP so that I can update the page on which it says what server requirments are needed.
