Auto login

Hi

When i visit WWG and other forums that i've set 'Automatically log me in when I return to the Forum' everything works fine

When i visit the downloaded version i'm testing i dont auto login even though i've requested it in my settings...any idea

also, any easy way to set up e-mail notification when new users join the forum?

simple answers (if there are any) please...not a clever developer like you lot !!!
