Hi guys, how do I make text already appear in a text box from a cell, like in the edit post function on the web wiz forum?

You can find a good example on modifying records from a database at http://bcis.wcu.edu/clapper/cis340_old/Module_7.asp. Look at the ASP Code on the last web page. I hope that this helps. The posts on this forum are stored in a database. When you edit the posts on this forum, they will be updated in the database.

cool, at the mo I've managed to succesfully add info to my data base now I'm gonna try to modify it, thanks for the link I'll have a go..
