hi guys,

ive already got two forums live, and was wondering if the access one can be converted to a mysql database if the forum grew so big it was necisary.

ok sorry im clued up now, why am i even thinking about mysql,,,

ok so it is possible for me to convert an acess forum into a mssql forum.

sorry to be an idiot, but i am trying to decide which db to use for my new forum.

If you're just starting the forum and your web host supports MSsql, go with it instead of Access. Couple of more steps to the set up, but you'll never regret it.

it is possible to convert the database to mysql, but you cant use it with the forum
