    Posted: 29 January 2004 at 6:35pm

Hi,

Is there a way of redirecting a whole directory in IIS 4 without doing a custom 404? I am after, if it is possible, a way of using an ASP file in an empty directory to redirect to another address.

Cheers.

<%
Response.Redirect("yourotherpage.asp")
%>

pmormr,

Upgrading would be great, except for I don't have conrol of the server. Our arcade environment is controled by another part of the department i work for.  We "may" be getting upgraded in the second half of this year.... it's a joke.

Hey MadDog, just because a person is not on the latest technology does not make them ignorant. The company may have a specific upgrade policy and may not have upgraded those servers yet or may have decided to go straight to Windows 2003 from NT. So you should know what peoples plans are before calling them ignorant
