does anyone know of a package that will process emails sent to the server? i need this kind of component to work in the asp environment (activex).

does cdonts or cdosys do the job?

cdonts and cdosys can only send emails not receive. Take a look at http://www.dynu.com they have a pop3 component...

i dont know if you can do it with CDO, but ServerObjects has created a component called aspPOP3..
