would it be too hard if final v7 could support 2 kind of views? one like it currently does and a threaded view. something like MFO forums at www.mrfixitonline.com.

that one supports both kinds. the threaded view would contain tree like replies where users can reply to a certain poster and not in a continuous line like the current forums. i dont know if i am expressing it right....

I would bet this is very difficult to do... and it would slow a lot the forum...

 

I hate these tree-like forum, did you really like it?

yes. i most definately like it. many gaming forums are like that and i am really used to them... but if its as difficult as it sounds i guess i can forget about it.

I don't like the threaded style forums to, which is why this one isn't.

Yes it would be difficult in this type of forum to also have a threaded view.

Maybe if you require a threaded view forum then this isn't the best forum for your needs, I'm sure that there are plenty of really good threaded style forums out there.

Why not have a look on www.aspin.com for one that would more suit your needs.
