Hello,
 
I'm facing a very strange problem.
 
I have one instance of WWF Version 8 (Beta 2) installed on MySQL and it's running without any problem.
 
Now I'm trying to install another instance, on the same server and different (new) database, username and password. MySQL server setup file displays this error message (after disabling error traping):
 




Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005' 

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified 

/forums/mySQL_server_setup.asp, line 217
 
I don't think it's a bug in version 8. Most likely a problem/restriction in MySQL, but I'm not so familiar with this database system.
 
Any ideas?
 
P.S: I might add that phpMyAdmin and MySQL Administrator (desktop app) are able to open database without any problem.

Also make sure the server has the myODBC 3.51 driver installed.

I've had this error before because this driver was not installed on the server.
