When I save a file, the file in question is empty except for the standard HTML code that is usually written ... ie. My content is not there.  And most of the buttons don't seem to do anything.  I can't put links etc...

Please help

It sounds like you have not set the RTE up correctly and for whatever reason the javascript code is failing to load.

If you use a browser like Firefox it comes with a Javascript console which is brilliant for tracking down what the problem is, when it comes to javascript.

Here's the funny thing, if I run default.asp provided with RTE it saves whatever I write ... my page with the exact same code will not.  Any ideas?

Like I said if you run Firefox with it's Javascript console it should give you a better idea as to what the problem is.

It is probaly either you have not initilised it properly or your own Javascript code coursing conflicts.

An error message from the Javascript console would give a much clearer picture though.
