Hello,
 
well, I have the problem that on one of my forums the members don't respect the forum- rules and even if I suspend them they re-registrate themselves with onother username. Is there any possibility to block the registration or to make the registration more complicated???Confused
 
Otherwise I have to close this forum.....

If you upgrade to version 8 RC1 there are improved features for banning members.

You can also enable email activation of membership from the admin area, this will mean that members will have to activate there membership via email.

Version 8 also has a feature that requires the admin to activate new members, so only the people you want can join your forum.

But I do not find how to enable email activation of memberships on the admin area Cry. Would be great if you could give me an advice.

It's under the 'Email Configuration' page.

If you download version 8 RC1, released this morning and upgrade your forum you will also have the option of activating new forum members yourself.

Version 8 also has 100's of other new features and a massive performance boost, with amazing page load times.
