i have just downloaded version 8 and i couldn't find NT authentication within the Admin Panel.  dose this version have it?

It does but as it is an option rarely used you need to enable it by editing one file in notepad and setting a variable to true.

1. Open the file:-

functions/functions_windows_authentication.asp

2. Set the following varaiable to true as shown below:-

Const blnWindowsAuthentication = True

This will enable Windows Authentication for Web Wiz Forums.

I've not had time to document this yet in the documentation files, but it is quite simple to setup.

i have enabled windows authenticated and it worked fine, but whenever i click on members link it shows the following error
 
Error:
This function is disabled as your forum membership has been suspended!
 
 
any clue?

It seems that for some reason when it enters the user into the database they are being set as suspended.

The only reason at present why I can see this may happen is if you have a corrupted file.

Try reuploading files again to the server and see if that clears up the error, those members already added to the database will need their forum accounts edit by the forum admin to un-suspend their accounts.
