ok here is the deal, i upgraded from 7.97 to 8, successful upgrade, was very happy still am but this avatar thing is buggin me lots...see some members on my forum have uploded large avatars, 7.x was dealing with those as shrinkin them to 64x64, but now theyve just gone crazy Confused are showin in full size and although they are not messin with the forum layout but are shown half or less in width length is shown in full...what to do?

Make sure you are running the CSS files from version 8.01, which sets the avatars at a 64 x 64 size instead of a liquid size upto 64 which was done in the beta and RC versions.

i am running a file that is of Maddog's skin...can you point out what lines of code should I change ?

Under the CSS class for avatar remove the part that has max-height and/or max-width and replace with:-

height: 64px;
weidth: 64px;
