 Everytime I upload a graphic in an image, please help... cm

Persits.Upload.1 error '800a0005'

The system cannot find the file specified.

Upgrade to version 8.02 to correct this issue

Hi BoRg, I started fresh with 8.02 and still get this error....   I deleted the sql db and all files and folders, and started over... Is there a particular file I can reload?  -c

I've looked this error up on Persists and it seems this error can happen for a couple of reasons.

The main one being the path to the upload folder is incorrect or you do not have the correct permissions set on the upload folder.

Make sure that the path to the upload folder is correct and that read, write, and modify permissions are set on the upload folder, many people leave out the modify permission when setting the permissions on this folder.

Hi
I have exectly the same problem.
everythink work ok but not the upload.
I download my sql 8.02 three days ago and permissions are fine.
The upload folder is "uploads"....
I get :
  • Error Type:
    Persits.Upload.1 (0x800A0005)
    The system cannot find the file specified.
    /bonsaisraeli/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 140
  • Browser Type:
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; he; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4
  • Page:
    POST 71489 bytes to /bonsaisraeli/non_RTE_upload_images.asp
  • POST Data:
    error '80020009'

    Exception occurred.

Any other ideas?

The error suggests that the path to your upload folder is incorrect.

There is a small  progress...
I can upload the files to:.../uploads/temp and I can see the files  on the server.

the erorr now:

    Yes it was permissions problem.
    Don't forget to ask the hosting to give
    permissions to the temp folder too !!!
