Hello,

I downloaded RTE and put all the files next to the page I want the textarea to be - all OK so far. The RTE editor was displayed OK on the page and I can write text, upload pictures etc. However. I am stuck with the "display" page.  I do not get a Submit button on my RTE. Is this because I have to put one on myself - I guess so.

What I am trying to do is let a site user amend his own textarea on a page and I had hoped that RTE could do this for me. Am I missing something? Can anyone help with how to do this? Is it possible to do it without a database?

Does anyone have any examples where this software is operating. Sorry for all the questions but I really need to get this working.

Many thanks.

The RTE is more of just a plugin to add to an already existing plain textarea in your own web site or ASP application into an RTE area.

This means that you need to write the ASP application yourself, doing whatever you need it to do, and then use the RTE to turn the plain textarea in your existing web page into an RTE area.
