after i've install and config WebWiz Forum on my hosting with mySql DB
i can admin my forum but
i got this error after i call my forum from browser



Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while executing SQL query on database.
Please check that the MySQL Server version is 4.1 or above.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_get_birthdays
File Name:- default.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.0.27-max-log]You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(tblAuthor.DOB) = 11 ORDER BY tblAuthor.Author_ID DESC' at line



What's the meaning of this error?
Did my ODBC driver is outdated?
if so how can i update it?

or can i tweak on DOB ??

I think you need to get the latest version of MySQL for it to work.  It looks like you only have 4.0.27, and you need at least 4.1

It would seem JodoHost haven't upgraded their servers either. I have sent them a quick note to see if there is any way around it.

In the mean time, is there any known way to get around this problem. If it is to do with the birthdays alone, I could live with not having that part of the forum.
