Getting strange characters in posts. At the end of each post I get "\r\n" What is this and how to get rid of it.

I also get this error when I try to edit the post:
SELECT tblThread.Thread_ID, tblThread.Author_ID, tblThread.Message, tblThread.Show_signature, tblThread.IP_addr, tblThread.Hide, tblThread.File_uploads FROM tblThread WHERE tblThread.Thread_ID=2;

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

Query-based update failed because the row to update could not be found.

/survivor/forum/edit_post.asp, line 562

And I installed the forum few times (with new database) but I still get the same error :(

These both seem very strange.

What database version are you using and what web server?

Are you using a free Brinskter account with ads.

If so then this will be the problem as the ads injected into the pages will course problems.

Those are newline and carriage return characters.

Might happen if someone was posting from a linux set up.

Also seen when people try to use a mail form to relay spam by inserting a bcc.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
