I would like a mod that would take the sub-forum viewing number and add it to the main forum viewing number. this way it shows the true number of users viewing topics withing the main forum.

Is this even possible?

1. Open default.asp and find the following line:
blnSubRead = CBool(sarryForums(14,intTempRecord))

2. Just below that line, insert the following code:
If blnForumViewing AND blnActiveUsers Then

intTotalViewingForum = intTotalViewingForum + viewingForum(intSubForumID)
End If

3. Save file and upload to server.

Ya its possible, and its a pretty easy mod. For anyone that wants to try, its as easy as adding the subforum viewer counts with the main forum's viewer count. I will see what I can do if noone else tries.

I might see if I can figure it out later tonight (I dont think I will) when i have some extra time but I have not really messed around with this product much so it might take me a long time. So if anyone can figure it out that would be great! I am concidering moving our 100,000 Members over to this forum. Has anyone used it with that amount of members, how is the performance?

The performance shouldn't differ much. I've seen forums with members in the 10,000's range and nothing slowed down. If you want you can contact me via an instant messenger if you need any help with the forum script.

I/we were thinking about buying the Link/Ad Removal key and changing to Web Wiz Forums but I have some questions. We have 5 different Domains all of which are ran/owned by the same company/individual, they are simply split to keep things organized. I want to switch all 5 of these domains over to Web Wiz Forums (they all have seperate forums/boards). All the forums will more than likely be kept on the same server. Will I be required to buy 5 different Link/Ad Removal keys at $76 USD a piece? becuase this may influence weather or not we switch.

By the way I did not get this Mod working so if someone else would like to take a look and try that would be awsome!!!! :D
