How important are session IDs? What are they used for? It seems to me that with them on a site will never get indexed properly by a search engine as the session ID changes with every user. I would very much like to have my site completely indexed but I can not find any articles here about the repercussions of turning off the session ids.
I did find one stating that guests will have a hard time with some services. Does this mean the group "guests" or all users being considered guests in this case and what service will they not be able to use?
Any help would be appreciated.
