Anybody here knows when will the Official Version of WebWiz Forums be released and what about the results of the skin competition?

8.5 is in alpha testing here, but no release date has been announced that I know of.
 
I believe the skin contest was either canceled or postponed until the new icon sets become available. Apparently almost all the skins that were submitted either used the original wwf icons that Borg is trying to get away from, or they used icons they didn't have the copyright on. Hardly anyone made their own icons.

If you use copyrighted images and icons on your web site, you open yourself up to a possible lawsuit. If you illegally distribute copyrighted images to thousands of web sites, you can count on getting sued - and on loosing.

Do a google for Getty Images Lawsuites and see how sites are being billed thousands of dollars even if they take the offending images down. Getty hired a firm that uses technology to search the web and compare images used on sites to copyrighted ones. Not to mention that a note from a copyright holders lawer to your isp or web host will probably get your site taken down.
