Dell E176FP
ViewSonic VA712
 
Price for each is $200 Approx
 
So far so good.. but if u have another satisfactory model with in the same performance class but better quality, please recommend..

I like LG Monitors myself, http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1597232&sku=L49-1738 is not as bright as the ViewSonic but higher contrast, guess it depends what you wanna do with it. I have a Dell at home currently and am not too happy with Pixel longevity.

Got VA712B At $170 What a bargain.
 
I am perfectly content with my LCD's as long as i am earning enough to afford them and they can withstand my abuse for a full year before melting down ;-)
 
Usually i read text and i always run my monitors quite dim. Dont like too much light in my eyes :)
