Where is a safe place to put the code for Google Analytics?

I originally placed it at the top of the common.asp file but the RTE Editor encounters problems when I do that.  Is there someplace in the code that is better or a way to place it in the code without it effecting the other code?

Here is the script:
<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
_uacct="UA-xxxx-x";
urchinTracker();
</script>

Thanks in advance,

Yeah, I knew where to place in a normal HTML site. I placed in a page that was including in all the other pages via include command and I had some errors. I just didn't know where to place it in the asp code of this forum.

I will try the footer code, but I need to know where in the code to place it. Beginning, end, just after "" etc.

Thx,
