CAPTCHA not validating

I implemented the WebWiz Forum software about 4 months ago.  Everything has been fine until today.

Now nobody can login to the admin pages because the CAPTCHA won't validate.  Also, the CAPTCHA image you get when there has been 3 failed login attempts does not validate.  All I get is the following:

The Security Code entered did not match that displayed.
A new Security Code has been generated.


I am positive I am entering the correct security code.  Everyone has tried to no avail.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Sounds like there is an issue with your server holding the ASP session. Contact the server admin about this.

If you can't get this fixed then edit the file functions/.functions_session_data.asp with notepad and use the forums database to store session data.

I reset the Front Page Server Extensions on the 1and1 account and it seemed to fix the problem.  Thanks
