the idea has potential..saves cost on digging trenches all over street..since even the poorest neighborhood as sewage lines. And as soon someone discovers a method of mass manufacturing elastically rigid, strong and water proof fiber optic on the cheap, then we should all get ready for dozen or so toilet ISP startup.

Perhaps sewage companies can take over internet communications. After all war of dominance over internet communications between has been going on for some time now. Expect a new player in the world dominated by cable operators, telecoms giants and wireless startups.
