hi,

I was just checing out my statistics for my web site and im getting a lot of bad requests for
/forum/avatar/blank_avatar.jpg

Im thinking in the miles of pages of code that at some point it say to look there if a user has no avatar.... but as the actual location is
/forum/avatars/blank_avatar.jpg
it can't find it.

im happy to fix it myself as long as you can tell me which file to modify.

Regards
Pete

This image is shown if the users avatar can not be loaded for whatever reason, eg. dead link

Place a blank transparent gif image called blank_avatar.gif into your avatar folder.

yes I did that.... but you have to create the avatar folder because it doesn't exist. and then just copy the blank_avatar.gif out of the avatars directory and into the avatar directory.....

but his is the easy way to work around the problem but in my humble opinion not the right way to fix it...

I thought I would let you know that there was a small error in the code..

I have seen atleast one of the lines of code before but can't remember where it was or if there is more thane one that controls it.
I was hopeing that you would know and save the the challange of finding it Big%20smile

Sorry I miss read your post, I didn't see the 'avatar' and 'avatars' part.

The problem looks like it is in the file members_profile.asp
