I don't know if it is a IE6 problem but he says he gets error a lot. He is not a MOD or ADMIN

I don't think this is an IE6 problem as the error suggest that CAPTCHA is required on your forum... and the person who's trying to post the message is not typying the exact code thus getting the error.

I am not sure what this means. He is logged in and replying to a message. Once logged in he should not have to authenticate to send it.

do you have a link to the forum this is happening so we can test. but i would agree with info_tech

it sounds like when not logged in (guest) he is posting as guest user (guest posting enabled), and hes not entering the correct code OR the other thing maybe server resetting/recycling to quick.

do you suffer from being logged in for only short amounts of time when not set to remember me. this will happen and if so suggest an over crowded Application Pool
