Not me, only use my phone for phoning, and the sound quality of the IPod sucked big time.

I played around with the iPhone some and it STINKS big. Most clunky keyboard ever. Maybe my fingers are too big but still. Also that without hacking it you can just about only load Apple SW - nah, I stick with my smartphone.

Only advantage of the Iphone is that you don't have to purchase an aditional data plan. Just that will save you a lot of money. I've heard the internet is slow though on the Edge network. Once it becomes available on the 3GP network, I might consider it. I'm very happy with my blackberry pearl right now though :)

I've got mobile internet here in the UK on my laptop, using the mobile (cell) network.
If you connect over 3G it is fast, upto about 1Mbps, if you connect using 2G/Edge, then you are lucky to get 20kbps, and it's painfully slow. I even waited 5 minutes once just for 1 page to load!
If it doesn't support 3G and you don't have much patients then stay clear, even then 3G coverage can be very patchy.

I currently have a motorola krazer... but my next purchase of a mobile phone will be an iphone., especially that the price has been reduced... and I wanna try that new multi-touch stuff... hopefully by the time I'm ready to get my new phone Apple would release a new version of iPhone... which I think is the reason behind reducing the price... The new version will include some good stuff and 3G is one of them.

That's correct. I plan on purchasing an iphone aswell, but won't do it until they ugprade to the 3g network. They're saying the new upgraded version will be coming out for the holiday season. Some 17 y/o kid recently found a hack for the iphone to use it on any network, so I guess its good thing for non att&t subscribers.
