Topic: MOD: Multi Media Functions (V2.01) Posted: 23 September 2007 at 7:31pm |
Multi Media Functions is a web wiz modification allows you to embed multi media files like MP3s and videos into a post just like flash movies.
Currently
this mod adds 2 new BBCodes to the forum, the first is [music] which
should be used to embed music files like MP3s and WMA. The second is
[movie] which should be used for movie files like MPEGs. You can download the modification from the Multi Media Functions page. for help please use my support forumWWF version: 9.51 Mod version: 2.01 Released: 23 Sept 2007 Updated: 6 Sept 2008

Any chance of getting this mod to work with 9.06?
Thank you,

according to the version history this mod should still work, as i dont think any files changed by this mod have been updated in the release of V9.06.
I will try to test this mod later and confirm that it works with V9.06.

Thank you for the quick reply and the awsome mods.
I did apply the multimedia mod and [TUBE] works but [MUSIC] does not.
The admin_web_wiz_forums_configuration.asp file is not updated to reflect the moded [MUSIC] code.
Forum Admin login confirms this with the Admin Config Screen:
No Music/MP3 option

i didnt edit the admin area to include the music tags. if you actually try the tags in a post, you should see something similar to this: (Note: The player may look different depending on which media player you use on your computer, this computer used for the screenshot had Quicktime)

I did try:
[MUSIC WIDTH=300 HEIGHT=45 AUTOSTART=false]http://mywebsite.com/file.mp3[/MUSIC]
Only code no player, the screen shot is 9.06 or 9.05?
[FLASH] and [TUBE] work.
