We're planning on moving from a php based forum to Web Wiz Forums. As part of the "sell" we showed how the lower support overhead (no password issues with integrated Windows Authentication) would be a benefit.
One issue that was highlighted was change of names, which normal affects the NT logon name. Because of this I created a mod that accesses the information stored within Active Directory (i.e. DisplayName, Title, email, office), when accounts are created.
I suspect other people may find this useful, but I’m not sure how to upload the mod. Do I just post the code as a normal topic? Or is there an upload area?
