Hi

The guys at WWF have just installed the premium version of newspad for me, over the top of the free version i was messing around with.

I went into the forum admin, turned on rss feeds and WebWiz Newspad.  The newsletter appears at the bottom of the forum, but when you click on it i get the following error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.0.41-community-nt]You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '.`tblNPNewsletter` SET RSS_views=1 WHERE (RSS_views=0 )' at line 1

/newspad/rss_view_newsletter.asp, line 109

Any Ideas what the problem could be? Cry

This seems to be a bug.

There is no reason for this error, it seems to be coursed by a bug in the myODBC driver. Are looking at updating the database in an alternative way for the next release to workaround this strange myODBC bug.

Hmmm.  I was wondering if it was a problem caused by installing and configuring the free version, then dropping the premium files in on top....but its probably not that cause they are essentialy the same (apart from the branding and adverts) i guess....

Doh!
