slow?

Web Wiz Forums is not slow as you can proberly tell from this forum, and we also have Web Wiz Forums running on our systems with over 400,000 posts which run just as fast.

If your forum is running slow and you get timeouts it points to issues with your hosting.

You have not mentioned what database type you are using, but the issue could be an overloaded web server, overloaded database server, slow network between web server and database server with high lag times.

Cost of the upgrade all depends on the type of license you have and when you purchased it. If you are unsure you should contact sales and accounts.

The forums loaded ok for me, but if they are going slow then it is your hosting provider who is at falut.  I have checked your provider and it seems to be 1&1 ?

They are known to be a slow host as they have far to many domains per box.
I would suggest you contacting them and asking them to look into the problem. If it has only been going slow for a few days it might be the application pool which needs recycling but my guess it is there slow hosting servers.

Depending on how much you pay for your hosting you should look at the hosting webwiz offers, it all gets setup for you and they will even migrate your old forum database.
