Installing Web Wiz Forums is fairly straight-forward
They have produced the documentation you will need here, depending on which type of forum you are going to run. You would have to check with your web host to see what version of the software you could run

There are 4 different versions so be sure to select the correct one

It does seem confusing when you first start, but there are lots of peeps on here who will be able to help you too Wink

So what are you unsure of?
Do you have a website address?
Do you have a webhost?

If you are really realy serious about having your own forum, then I would suggest perhaps that you look at what Web Wiz have to offer. If you are planning to host a Harry Potter topical forum then you need in my opinion the hosting solutions of this company to get you moving

Whilst free hosts have a lot to offer, paying for hosting usually means lots more. I'm sorry that my dutch is not as good as your english, so sometimes I'm struggling to understand what it is you are hoping to achieve Wink and I assume when you say Magix, you mean Magix Website maker?

In order for someone to create a forum for you, then they would need access to your login and password details for your webserver. The forum software that is offered here is ready to go, so it is just a case of you knowing which type - SQL, mySQL or Access versions, that your server can run

Once you know that, it is reasonably straight forward to get your forum up and running. DO NOT GIVE OUT your password or logins on open forum though Thumbs%20Up
