Hi there. I recently downloaded RTE and I'm evaluating it for a site. The site I am testing on is built using DIVs and CSS; the RTE code sits inside the main content layer. However, when I run the page the iFrame popups for font, size, etc, appear well below the textarea to which the RTE toolbar is attached.

I've looked inside the RTE_javascript.asp file and changed the CSS position of the iFrame elements from 'absolute' to 'fixed' or 'static', which does ensure that the iFrames pop up where expected, but the whole textarea, along with the toolbars are shifted down in the form. This doesn't happen if the whole form is not inside a DIV.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there a workaround?

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Nevermind, I figured it out.

You have to remove the functions getOffsetTop & getOffsetLeft from RTE_javascript.asp (function FormatText) and position the iframes with css.
