I tried linking to an avatar and it worked the first time when I previewed it then it no longer worked.
 
So I go to upload my avatar and it looks like it worked but on my profile page there should be an option to use the uploaded avatar. Its kind of confusing to me.
 
Well come to find out it didnt work. Its in the uploaded section of the avatars and when I click ok it just exits. So how would I select the avatar that I uploaded?

It depends on how large the avatar is, and you also have to save your settings which is at the bottom of the member settings page

Go to Member Control Panel
Click Edit Profile
Avatar must be 64x64 but it should resize if say yours was 100x100 just for example
Click Avatar Upload

And then


Click Browse to find the avatar on your system
Upload
And then OK

Now you should see it
The choose Update Profile and it should be there



at the bottom
