I would like to add an “add to cart action” to “B” but dont know how. Currently my page is “A” which works. When you click on the icon it triggers the action. In version “B” I would like the “Add To Cart” text to trigger the action.

Name your reward $$$ and I will send you a check if it works.

Thanks
Jon

Using Part A as a reference for your system, you can do the above - make sure the parts in red match and are unique for each button - I simply used the Product ID from Part A, but you can use what ever you like.

That worked well! Thank you! However there appears to be a question mark under every product except for one. I cant figure how to get rid of them. https://www.frenchgeneral.com/espressolane.php
Product 867 is the good one.
I have 2 other issues I need to resolve. The pull down menus hide behind the products instead of in front and the “add to cart“ should not take you to the shopping cart every time. Somewher on the top page there should be something that indicates that you have added an item.
Thanks
Jon

First of all the question mark.
I cant see it my self, but is it where the dollar sign should be? if so replace the dollar sign with this: $

Second the drop down menus, for me, again they seem fine, I am using firefox so it may be an issue with the browser you are using, if you could tell me which that is.

I would not be able to help with the third issue as that is to down to your shopping cart system - you are sending the user to the "add_to_cart.pl" file, it adds the item to the basket which doubles as the basket page its self.

Also I noticed you are using frames for your website, I would recommend moving away from frames. You can produce the same layout by using PHP includes to add the header and footer into every page, this will help your website on search engines as they find it difficult to crawl frames.

Thanks Scotty

Well I fixed the first two problems on my own. The third one is trickier I know. Ill have to find someone to help me figure it out. Is it the "add_to_cart.pl" file that would need fixing or some other coding. Im a fish out of water on this one.

Thanks
Jon

fixing the third issue would be a simple case of splitting the "add_to_cart.pl" file into two.

But you would need to know Perl to do it successfully.
