There is no error huntedman - this is normal. It also appears in Firefox and on the earlier versions too

Originally pages where done using just the drop down, but people asked for link pages to click.

Both are kept as both have their advantage, the non drop down links allow you to quickly move to a nearby page and are good for SEO, the drop down allows you to move to any of the pages, so if you had 500 pages the drop down will allow you to quickly move to page 100 without going through lots of pages to get there.

IE 6 and below only has the non drop down links, this is due to a formatting bug in IE 6 and below. Web Wiz Forums does degrade for IE 6 and below users who see different options, images, etc.
