I'm installing the Forums software using the Access method.  Yes i know this is a bad way to go for it, but it's a small group and i doubt if more then one person would ever even be on at the same time.  Instead of using the MDB i upgraded the DB that came with the files to MS Access 2007 (accdb) and changed the lines in "database_connection.asp" to this

Was this:
strDbPathAndName = Server.MapPath("database/ForumDB.mdb")
strCon = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=" & strCon

Now this:
strDbPathAndName = Server.MapPath("database/ForumDB.accdb")
Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source="&strDbPathAndName

But i always get this error:
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_Access_loginUser()_update_login_attempts
File Name:- functions_login.asp

Error details:-
ADODB.Recordset
Current Recordset does not support updating. This may be a limitation of the provider, or of the selected locktype.

The permissions are set on the IUSR account for read, write and modify.  So i'm not sure what to try next.  If it can't be done with the newer DB then i'll upload the old one and change things back.

As Access is not supported in a production environment the Access 2007 ACE driver has not been fully tested yet. Although preliminary tests on version 10 do look promising.
