Some suggestions regarding topics classifications:
I think I read somewhere that the new v.10 will have a point system. But I don´t know if this will affect only users or also topics...
Anyway, my suggestion is to make the users and admin able to rate topics. My ideas are:
- Make the user flag a topic as favorite. So he will have a favorite list. Some users ask me for that. It´s really simple and really useful. Much better than marking it with the browser.
- Make the moderator / admin flag a topic as protected. This way, the important topics would not be deleted when we archieve or try to delete them.
- Make the user rate the topic (and each reply) as useful (yes or no) OR give a 0 to 5 classification, alowing this to be searchable.
- The classification could be related to the user: users get classification based on how good their topics or replies are rated. This would be really cool. We could give prizes for the most contributor user and things like that.
