Hide Posts of Events for Calendar?

I would like to have events on the calendar, however is there a way I can hide the posts (while allowing people to click on the calendar and read them)?

Also...

Once I post the event, will the posts themselves (not the calendar) align in order of the date they are to happen?

And...

I just noticed that option "Share Topic" . I WANT THAT!!   (very cool!)


and... I know I'll think of something else...

Oh yes! If there is an ongoing event that takes place 2 days a week, do I post multiple times for those different dates (so that the event is not showing up every day of the week)?
